The Viennese restaurant owes its name to Crown Prince Rudolph of Austria-Hungary, who married Princess Stefanie of Belgium on 9 May 1881. As a sign of his respect for the crown-princely couple, the then-proprietor of the “White Rose” renamed his establishment “Hotel Stefanie”—and the restaurant located within was named after the Crown Prince. In keeping with this tradition, you can to this day enjoy a refined and sophisticated dining experience at Restaurant Kronprinz Rudolph.
The celebratory backdrop is provided by the elegant ballroom of the restaurant. High ceilings, massive chandeliers and classic decoration greet you upon your visit.
As for cuisine, you can look forward to first-class Viennese fare of worldwide renown. The house specialties are the famous Viennese roulades, which are prepared here according to imaginative recipes by Head Chef Johann Bartl.
